International Solidarity Learning and Development Course, 7 – 9 December 2018

This course is for NEU members to enhance their teaching and learning practice on global issues as well as develop their campaigning and organising skills for international solidarity. By the end of the course, participants will have the skills and knowledge to carry out the role of the International Solidarity Officer; enhanced their knowledge and skills related to teaching and learning about the key concepts of Global Citizenship; gained strategies for tackling controversial issues; evaluated activities that encourage action for change through collaborative classroom teaching strategies; and begun to plan and organise international solidarity projects for their school, local association or division.
